Varn Health wins Gold at the PM Society Digital Awards 2024 in partnership with Roche

We are proud to share news that Varn Health, in collaboration with our client Roche, has been announced as the Winner at the prestigious PM Society Digital Awards 2024, with the ‘Gold’ award in the Digital/External Communications category.  This award is a tremendous recognition of our team’s hard work, dedication and expertise in delivering outstanding SEO strategies for the healthcare sector. 

Winning this award is a significant achievement for Varn Health, acknowledging the positive impact of our “SEO-first” approach in healthcare digital marketing. The PM Society Digital Awards celebrate the best and most innovative work in healthcare digital communications and it’s an incredible honour to be recognised at such a prestigious event. A winning project to protect search rankings and website traffic

The winning project exemplifies Varn Health’s technical SEO expertise and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. In collaboration with Roche, we successfully amalgamated multiple micro-websites into a single central domain—Medically, a global healthcare professional resource (excluding the US). This complex SEO challenge aimed to protect existing rankings and website traffic, improve organic search visibility and ensure seamless content migration. Varn Health’s ‘SEO-first’ approach, ensured all website traffic/rankings were protected whilst multiple microsites were incorporated into one central domain. Results saw not just the protection of existing rankings, but also significant increase of +106% in clicks from organic Google search results and +74% in Google search result impressions.

The judges at the PM Society Digital Awards were highly impressed by Varn Health’s innovative approach, and noted that:
